I’m in a book club with some girlfriends, and this round we’re reading all three Hunger Games books. I just finished the first in less than a week because it’s a grabber. I was glued to it during Mini’s naps and beyond my bedtime every night. That said, the writing was so-so and I felt I always knew what was going to happen. Entertaining, though, and it’s interesting to me that these books are used in middle (or high?) schools to teach themes of government control and violence.
